1. About Pettel

Pettel is an online marketplace connecting dog owners with licensed boarding kennels in Ireland. By using pettel.ie you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One person may not hold multiple accounts.

3. Bookings and payments

• Bookings are confirmed only when payment is successfully processed via Stripe.
• Pettel charges a platform fee on each booking. The fee is shown at checkout.
• Cancellation terms are set by each kennel and displayed on their listing.
• Refunds for cancelled bookings are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

4. Kennel operators

• Kennels listed on Pettel must hold a current boarding licence issued by their local authority.
• Kennel operators are responsible for the care and safety of dogs in their custody.
• Operators must keep their availability calendar accurate to avoid double-bookings.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Do not provide false information about your dog's health or behaviour.
• Do not attempt to circumvent Pettel's payment system by paying kennels directly.
• Do not post fraudulent reviews.

6. Limitation of liability

Pettel is a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for the actions of kennel operators or for injury or loss to dogs during a stay. All kennels are independently licensed and operated.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
